Dirk de Bod and his Safaris Namibia are that rare entity in today’s Africa: A well-known name, but still a small outfit that retains the personal touch. Depending only on group size, most safaris are guided personally by Dirk himself. That’s very good news because Dirk is one of very best professional hunters I’ve ever been with, good company and an amazing judge of trophy quality…combined with access to exceptional areas, usually based from his comfortable and well-appointed camp just 1.5 hours from the Windhoek airport. I first hunted with Dirk nearly 20 years ago, many times since…I’m proud to call him a friend, and look forward to sharing his campfire again.

Our Safari Camp is steeped in African tradition, offering our guests a luxurious tented camp with en-suite bathrooms. Located on the bank of a dry riverbed, it overlooks the picturesque bush veld.

You’ll enjoy a sundowner by the fire while watching wildlife frequent at nearby waterhole. Twenty-six species of game roam this beautiful area of savannah plains, rolling hills with acacia trees and indigenous shrubs.

Home-cooked meals are provided as well as refreshments to your needs. We guarantee a very comfortable and unforgettable safari.
