2020 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo

2020 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo

The Western Hunting and Conservation Expo has been growing exponentially over the last decade.  This show is one of the West’s greatest hunting and conservation shows, and each year the show gets better and better.  The 2020 hunting show is shaping up to be one of the best hunting conventions in the country.

This year’s Expo will be held on February 13th -16th, 2020.  Rob Keck is the Master of Ceremonies for this year’s Western Hunting & Conservation Expo.  Rob’s knowledge and experience of hunting aligns with his role as Director of Conservation at Bass Pro Shops, Co-Host of Bass Pro Shops Television and a RedHead Pro Hunting Team member.   John Bair will be the auctioneer, and as an auctioneer John has helped to raise over $100 million for wildlife conservation and hunter advocacy issues.  John is a pleasure to watch, and this will be one of the most enjoyable auctions you will attend all year.

Hunting & Conservation Expo Entertainment

The keynote speaker for the 2020 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo is United States Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt.  David is the 53rd Secretary of the U.S Department of the Interior.  David Bernhardt leads an agency with more than 70,000 employees who are stewards for 20 percent of the nation’s lands, including national parks, monuments, wildlife refuges and other public lands. Bernhardt is an avid hunter and angler and recently served on the Board of Game and Inland Fisheries for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

On Thursday night, Little Texas will be performing their selection of country music hits like “God Blessed Texas.”  Little Texas has sold over 7 million albums and plays an average of 300 shows a year, labeling them as the “Hardest Working Band in America.”  Saturday night brings us Chris Janson who has been labeled a “live legacy in the making” by Rolling Stone.  Chris Janson is now a platinum-selling recording artist.

The Ladies of the WHCE are presenting A 50’s Party with a special event filled with a silent auction, live auction, games, entertainment, great food and a whole lot of dancing.  Grease is the word of the day at this party and everyone attending is encouraged to Look Cool.  Act Cool.  Be Cool.

200 Permits for Wildlife Conservation.

The 2020 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo offers the chance to apply for 200 Utah Big Game Tags.  Anyone can apply for these tags online, but you must validate your tags by your attendance at the convention.  There are five Utah premium once-in-a-lifetime trophy tags that will be made available for non-residents only, including one Desert Bighorn Sheep, one Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, one Shiras Moose, one Mountain Goat and one Bison.  That is a pretty great reason to travel to this show.

If you are serious about Western big game hunting, this is the show to attend.  https://huntexpo.com
