Caroline Boddington was born in San Diego and did most of her growing up along California’s Central Coast. She was a cheerleader throughout high school, graduating from Paso Robles High School, and she currently attends the University of Kansas in the School of Social Welfare. She would be quick to report with some pride that she is fifth generation at KU, her great-great-grandmother having graduated there in 1877. She loves to hunt because of the challenge and skill it requires…and she particularly enjoys the game meat! She has hunted Africa and the U.S., and enjoys the travel not just for the hunting, but because it gives a unique and in-depth look into different cultures.
Conrad was born and raised in North Idaho and Eastern Washington to a family of still photographers that focused on nature and news. The TV camera gave him access to a world far bigger and grander than he imagined as a boy. Thirty-three countries later I’ve taped hundreds of species of fauna and flora, amazing landscapes and told many stories. Through all of the challenges required to do this, he has fallen in love over and over with creation. Today, this journey with his cameras gives him a deep and enduring sense of gratitude, wonder and a responsibility to protect the wild places and wildlife.
Kelly Bertellotti grew up involved in and enjoying outdoor recreation of all types and began to develop skills and educate herself by taking photography classes available at the high school level. Her interest in hunting, fishing and photography grew with every outdoor and recreational adventure. She followed that passion and dream as she attended and recently graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Media Art. Kelly combines a keen eye for photography and knowledge of wildlife in the field with "The Boddington Experience" as camera operator and editor.
Dr Sadaf Khan was born in the foothills of the Himalayas but moved to London, England as an infant where she spent her childhood and formative early adult years. She attended the prestigious University of Cambridge, graduating with a Masters degree in Pathology and a Degree in Medicine. It was here that she initially honed an appreciation for competitive marksmanship as a keen member of the Cambridge University Revolver and Pistol Club.
Dr Khan began her Emergency Medicine residency in West Michigan in 2001. Trap and skeet became a regular respite from the hectic demands of a level 1 trauma centre. It was also here where her introduction to hunting began and her love of the outdoors blossomed. She took both to the central coast of California in 2005.
She achieved board certification in ER medicine and partnership in a busy ER and trauma centre where she currently practices full time. Her love of travel and adventures in the great outdoors with her career in ER led to a natural progression into specialty interest in wilderness and expedition medicine.
Whether it was wild boar and deer hunting in CA, exotics in TX or tahr in New Zealand, Dr Khan knew hunting and more importantly appreciation of nature would always be an important part of her life. She has completed wilderness medicine courses on 3 distinct continents and is currently pursuing a Fellowship in wilderness medicine. She is an active member of the Wilderness Medical Society as well as the newest member of Team Bodd Ex.
