TRACKS ACROSS
AFRICA . . . Another Ten Years
(Safari Press, November 2008)
Twenty years
ago I chronicled my first decade of African hunting with From Mount Kenya to
the Cape. I followed up ten years later with Where Lions Roar, but in my
mind that didn't mean I was making a habit of "ten year African books." In
fact, in 1997 I would have bet that this book, Tracks Across Africa, would
never exist. I would have been wrong. Thanks to our television series of
the same name--and a thirst for Africa that, somehow, has never been
slaked--time spent in Africa has continued to escalate, and has been just as
much fun as it was thirty years ago! Except that, back then, I didn't know
what I didn't know. I'm still learning, and will continue to learn, but
today I am able to look at things based on thirty years' experience and more
than seventy African hunts. While I'll never say "never," I do not predict
that I will write another "ten year African book." I can say that this is
my best (and biggest) African book, and I hope you'll join me as I relive
hunts in far-flung places like Cameroon, C.A.R., Chad, and Ethiopia; classic
destinations like Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique; and of course, today's
most popular safari countries, South Africa and Namibia. Limited Edition,
signed, numbered, in slipcase 326 pages, illustrated in color and black and
white.

Leopard
By Craig Boddington, Tim
Danklef, Dave Fulson
(Mission Trails Media, March 2007)
In all my years of African hunting, no other species has provided more highs
and lows than my pursuit of the African leopard, the most beautiful and
possibly the most challenging member of the Big Five. Our new book
Leopard is a joint collaboration with my partners Tim Danklef & Dave
Fulson (producers of my Boddington On Leopard DVD) and is, without a doubt,
the most in depth study on the history and hunting of this magnificent cat
ever produced. After a great deal of thought and consideration, we have
decided to offer Leopard only in this one time signed, and limited
edition printing. Leopard will NEVER be reprinted neither in
another limited edition nor trade edition, guaranteeing this book will
become an instant collectors item. Limited to 1250 copies only, numbered
and signed by all three authors.
Leopard: 200 pages with over 150
color photographs, large format, embossed cover. This book features a custom
presentation box including fronts piece of renowned artist Guy Coheleach’s
“Tree Stand.”

"Buffalo!"
by Craig Boddington
(Safari Press, May 2005)
Over the course of nearly 30
years of African hunting, one of the things you learn is the animal that
excites you the most. For me, that is buffalo first and foremost. I have
hunted them in a dozen African countries and I have been very lucky with big
buffalo. But whether a monster or just an average bull, there is nothing
more exciting than getting close to buffalo. In this this book, I share with
the reader a wide range of topics including hunting destinations, trophy
judgment, shot placements, hunting techniques, “other” as well as Cape
buffalo…and more. Whether you have hunted buffalo or just plan you, I am
sure you will enjoy reading this book as much as I did writing it.

RIFLE BULLETS FOR THE HUNTER--A Definitive Study
(Ballistic Technology, 2006)
We have a wonderful selection of hunting bullets available today--so many
that it can be confusing. I'm asked about bullets a lot, but as I've often
written, there are so many good ones that no one person can possibly be
familiar with all of them. That's the point to this book. Rather than one
author's opinion, this book is a collaboration between me and a half-dozen
of my colleagues and friends: John Barsness, John Haviland, Richard Mann,
Ron Spomer, Bryce Towsley; edited by Dave Campbell, with a special
contribution by Berit Aagaard. It is truly the best, most complete, and
most objective treatise on modern rifle bullets and how to choose them.
Hardcover with dust jacket, over 300 pages, color photography.

Ndlovu - The Art Of Hunting The African Elephant
By
Richard Harland
(African Hunter, 2005)
It should be obvious that the primary intent of this website is to promote
my own books and DVD's. There will be exceptions, and one is my friend
Richard Harland's new book "Ndlovu--The Art of Hunting the African
Elephant". With vast experience hunting ivory, game control work, and
guiding safaris, Richard Harland is one of Zimbabwe's most experienced and
respected elephant hunters--and a fine writer as well. "Ndlovu" is the most
complete, most thoughtful, and most authoritative book ever written on the
subject of Africa's elephant. I recommend it highly, and am extremely
pleased to include it among my website offerings. If elephant is in your
future, this book is a must.
