Another year older, another year wiser; the spot-and-stalk is just slightly slower.

This month, we celebrated two of our PHs on their birthdays. Thank you for the knowledge, patience and good humour you bring to every safari, and for simply being the men you are. May the year ahead bring straight shooting, fresh tracks and plenty of good stories around the fire.

“If a gemsbok could be a dagga boy, this would be the one.”
Roelof Kleefstra, PH
Estimated to be around ten years old, this gemsbok had lived through many dry seasons, long summers, great distances and the constant test of survival. His history was written in the details: polished horns with worn tips, a heavier frame and teeth shaped by years of grazing.

From field to fork, Moses makes sure every plate is prepared with care, from this perfectly cooked gemsbok steak and fresh vegetables to the many camp favourites our guests enjoy throughout their stay. Thank you for making the table such an important part of the safari experience.

To every client who hunts with us, thank you. You may not always see how far the impact of your safari reaches, but it touches many lives. It never gets old seeing the gratitude when the meat from a harvested animal is gifted to local communities, or watching villagers gather in celebration, sometimes dancing around the animal in a tradition of thanks. Every harvest is fully used, shared and deeply appreciated.
