Axis Deer

Axis Deer, also known as Chital, are a species of deer native to India and Sri Lanka. They are a medium-sized deer, with males reaching a shoulder height of up to 32 inches and females reaching a shoulder height of up to 28 inches. They have a golden-brown coat with white spots, and the males have distinctive three-pronged antlers. Axis Deer are herbivorous, feeding mainly on grasses and other vegetation.
